28 May Downsizing in Low Country Style
Downsizing is difficult. Purging years of possessions takes long enough without having to think about decor for your new place. This can also be a great time to reinvent your style, though. The help of an expert can make your transition seamless.
Magnolia Green is about to unveil a new development called Charleston Village targeting the lifestyle of the 55 plus/empty nesters. Arbor Signature Homes has come up with a brilliant concept in new construction, blending contemporary floor plans with beauty and cottage charm inspired by the Low Country.
Take the frustration out of building new by choosing a pre-selected design of cabinetry, flooring, lighting etc., in more than one dozen different Low Country-inspired themes. I designed each theme based on the slow and easy style of Charleston and the surrounding Low Country so your new home can be a beautiful, relaxing, charming place to live.
It all starts by selecting your floor plan within Charleston Village, then your style. Here are a few of the design schemes I’ve created:
Waccamaw River Rustic: This design has hints of gardening, hunting and fishing. The great South and the great outdoors are the style here.
Legare Street Simplicity: The Low Country cottage inspired the “Shaker” look for this plan.
Broad Street Chic: If you are little edgy and bold but still a belle or beaux, this is for you. Your friends from the “North” will love it.
Ashley River Attitude: Here I am inspired by classic Southern charm. This one is warm and inviting.
