Love Your Home: Best of Homearama 2018

When Jones Custom Homes asked us to be their interior designer for “The Modena” at Homearama 2018we had no idea what an opportunity it would be to showcase our designs.  So many people made this home beautiful, executing our designs and showing off their talents as well. Here are the highlights.

Powder Room

Glass bead wall detail by Diane Williams of Art to Di For

The glass bead wall accent in the powder room by Diane Williams of Art To Di For had people screaming!  Really! Look at the careful detailing and the beautiful flecks of color.

We wanted the island to look like a substantial piece of furniture instead of a table or counter top.  Configuring the cabinets accordingly was pure genius by Chesapeake Bay Cabinets.  We topped it off with Leathered Grey Silk granite from Classic Granite and Marble.

Butler Pantry

The Butler Pantry at Homearama 2018 was painted by Diane Williams of Art to Di For

The exquisitely detailed backsplash is more of Diane Williams’ work.  She has taken decorative paint in Richmond to new a level.  The counter top and sink are all one.  Greg and Travis of Full Tile actually enjoyed this challenging tile installation!

Master Bedroom

Every master bedroom needs a feature.  This ceiling detail was inspired by the light fixtures that came from Fergusons. It complements the decor without pulling too much attention away from the rest of the room.

Master Bath

The master bath at Homearama 2018 was executed by Jones Custom Homes

This room is an emotional experience. Don’t you want to lose yourself in the vaulted ceiling and inviting tub?  Just close the doors to the world and enjoy.

Bed Swing

Who doesn't want a bed swing?

And, the bed swing – everyone wants one!  It is the perfect napping spot.  Mike of River City Contructors made this and did all of the trim work in the house.

A big shout out to Clocktower Realty Group for staffing the house with such enthusiastic and energetic agents.  Kaylin Bradley and Henry Salomonsky were there almost everyday greeting people and telling the Modena’s story.

Kathy Corbet Interiors is so proud to have been part of this.  Thank you Don Jones!
