Fragrant Living:  Scenting Your Home In Style

When we talk about designing your dream home, we focus on the structure, the flow, the furniture and the trimmings. But let’s talk about smells. Don’t you love when you step into a luxury hotel and inhale a wonderful signature scent? And when we visit our favorite vendors, they also often have a branded smell to accompany their designs. How can you create the same thing in your home?

We love perfumes that are packaged in bottles so pretty that we leave them out on display. When will candle companies catch on and give us beautiful looks, too?

Enter Baobab.

We congratulate The Baobab Collection on giving us both beautiful packaging, heavenly scents and great quality!

We brought in a variety to use in our upcoming projects. Take look, absorb the style, and try to imagine the fragrances!

Caravane living room

A room inspired by travel is filled with a fragrance of fir, wood fire and vetiver.

Stones Lazuli coastal inspired great room

This casual great room went for a coastal vibe. We picked a fragrance with cardamom, sea salt and musk.

Manhattan art deco living room

Our client wanted a room with art deco motifs.  Her fragrance is cypress, lavender and papyrus.

Orientalist essaouira office

A deep magenta color inspired this feminine office escape.  The fragrance is floral with notes of hyacinth, lily, and almond blossom.

Sand Sonora primary suite

The classic blue-green tones make this primary suite calm and restful. Our fragrance of choice has saffron, myrrh and patchouli.

Stones Agate guest suite

The lush depth of dark blues and golds make this a plush guest suite.  The scent is rhubarb, acai berry and peony.
