Neutral no more: embracing a return to color

We’re thrilled to see so many vendors reintroducing color into their collections! After years of all-natural, all-neutral rooms dominating design, it’s refreshing to break away from the monotony. Neutral tones are timeless and safe, but they can lack energy and individuality.

Let’s explore some inspiring ways to bring color into your home. We’ll showcase ideas from our trusted vendors as well as a few client projects where we’ve successfully blended color into neutral spaces. The results? Rooms that feel both balanced and full of personality!

Blue Sectional

Revelation by Uttermost always has a lively showroom.  This past fall we were happy to see a full blown sectional in blue.

Plum Sofa

Hooker has a new line called “M”.  This plum sofa paired with a natural rug was a stunner.

Modern Serenity

Our “Modern Serenity”. Theme for the Shades of Light catalog included teal to balance out a palette of caramel and chocolate.

Gold Accents

Another room for the Shades of Light “Natural Fusion” catalog layered gold accents into a room of neutrals.

Textured Blue Sectional

This river house great room went with a textured blue sectional in a room of soothing neutrals and natural woods.

coastal Bar

In one of our coastal projects we did a bar in a very lovely blue-green shade.

Touches of Turquoise

This very traditional home welcomed our introduction of turquoise.
