TREND REPORT: BOLD COLORS AT HIGH POINT FALL MARKET

One of my takeaways from the Fall High Point Market was COLOR. What do you think about all of these crazy bold hues? Are they for you? What do we think? Read on…

BOLD COLORS AT HIGH POINT MARKET THIS FALL

Many of the showrooms went very bold. One showroom even had a rainbow room! Here are a few we caught on camera.

There was red and blue at Taylor King.

Lime and blue at Woodbridge.

And Moss and Purple at Universal.

It is hard to imagine having that “Ah” feeling of comfort when you come home after a long day to one of these rooms. That’s why we suggest saving this color intensity for a room that is only about fun. With that said, we would like to share a recent basement remodel project with you.

What do we think at Kathy Corbet Interiors?

This family of four embraced staying at home by turning their basement into the ultimate party room. A retro sofa was a family hand-me-down that we upholstered in a bold jungle print. The colors in it set the stage for the rest of the room.

We used a Jungalow rug by Justina Blakeny, then added quirky window valences and bright orange bar stools.

The white ceramic monkey light tops off the bar! This is how we recommend you use bold colors. Want us to help add some color to your home? Contact us today.
