HIGH POINT TREND REPORT PART 6.5: ANIMAL VASES

We saw lots of human faces on vases at the High Point Market, but animals were losing their heads, too! We expect to see more of these at the next market.

This Lion at Wildwood has quite the mane when fresh flowers are added.

And, this gilded llama is a serious standout piece. I love how these pieces warm up a space and add some whimsy without feeling overly silly. Where would you put one in your home?

This is a bonus to the sixth part of our series about faces on vases: The High Point Market is the largest furniture trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina, every six months. I always scout for fresh furniture for my clients and trends to inform my recommendations. For the next few weeks I’ll be sharing spring market trends with you in a series. View the other trends: burnt and charredthe naturalsblack-white-natural, and round and curvilinear.
