Could this mushroom motif trend become a home decor trend, too? Elle just called them design’s hottest trend and they were all over High Point, too!

This trend may even still be in the fad category right now. It first appeared a few years ago with “fumed” oak flooring and then the matte black trend. Now it is appearing in accessories. I look forward to how this plays out in the upcoming year.

Over the years we have seen black and white trends and matte black and gold trends. Now we are seeing matte black and white with natural colors and materials. Some showrooms called it “Primitive Modern.”
